Professional Summary

Personal Statement
I desire to be an example for any young person growing up in similar circumstances as I did. I hope they can look to me and realize that they are worthy of this profession, worthy to serve others, and worthy of reaching for something higher than what they thought possible for themselves. I vow to tell them to “aim high” and be a counterforce to any skepticism they face. For every helping hand and guiding presence that aided me in my endeavors through the field of medicine, I aim to impart that compassion and kindness into every patient's care I am involved in. It is an immensely fulfilling privilege to be a key element in a patient's clinical course and be able to contribute to their care as another member of their team.
Why I Chose Cincinnati
The emphasis on resident education and the welcoming feeling I felt during interviews is what convinced me that Cincinnati would be the program for me.  It was clear that the faculty and residents create a safe and encouraging environment for learning as well as practicing humanistic medicine.
