2003 -2007 Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering department;, Teaching undergraduate theory and laboratory classes. 2007 -2015 Graduate Research/Teaching Assistant, I proposed and implemented Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) based parallel electromagnetic transients (EMT) simulation tool for power systems networks. Was involved in programming heterogeneous computer systems involving GPUs to apply parallel programming for power systems simulations. Performed detailed analysis of EMT-algorithm to determine the most time consuming parts of the algorithm and accelerated the computations using effective parallelization of the entire algorithm. 2010 -2011 Research Assistant, Worked with the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) research group to develop new RF-pulses to apply in multi-transmit MRI-applications. 2015 -2016 Engineering Assistant, I was involved in the development of a network import tool for PSCAD, which creates a PSCAD compatible network model from networks modeled in PSSE type of simulations. This tool creates an equivalent network model for very large power systems networks, so that the network can be implemented in PSCAD for detailed analysis. 2015 -2018 Instructor (part-time), I was involved in teaching one undergraduate course (i.e. ENG 1450) from the ECE department during the winter and summer semester(s). Duties include preparing and presenting lectures, tutorials, & workshops in an English-only format, constructing and marking appropriate assessment instruments (tests, assignments, projects, examinations), invigilating the midterm and final exam, and recommending a final grade for the course, maintaining office hours for students in need, etc. , International College Manitoba,University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada

2016 -2018 Mitacs Elevate Postdoctoral Fellow, This was a Mitacs-Canada administered industry collaborated research program between, Manitoba HVDC research centre and University of Manitoba. I am involved in implementing parallel models for various power systems components using off the shelf hardware, such as: Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), etc. GPU-based parallel tools are showing promising results for PSCAD, a commercially available power systems simulation tool., University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada
