Reza Ershadnia

I am a PhD candidate in the Geology Department at the University of Cincinnati. I utilize high-performance computational tools to understand the dynamics of multiphase flows in both shallow and deep aquifers. My research interests are encapsulated in one fundamental question: How does multiscale subsurface geologic structure control dynamics of gaseous phase? My study addresses this question focusing on different societally relevant problems including geological storage of CO2, and CH4 leakage to shallow aquifer systems.
