Professional Summary
Eni Gambeta is an Assistant Professor in the Management Department. He earned a PhD in Strategic Management from Rice University. His research is primarily focused on strategic human capital and how firms manage their human capital relationships and incentives to drive innovation, productivity and strategic change. He also studies how these human capital relationships operate in different ownership, institutional and environmental contexts. This stream of research is embedded in the broader “theories of the firm” literature, as well as instrumental stakeholder theory and resource-based view of the firm. His work has appeared in the Academy of Management Review, Strategic Management Journal and Journal of Management. He also holds and MBA and Industrial Engineering degree. Prior to starting his PhD he worked at Boeing and DPSG.
