DR. PETER KOTCHER earned his BA from Rice University and his Masters in Chemistry from John Hopkins University. He attended Medical School at LSU Shreveport. Dr. Kotcher completed his psychiatry residency at Cincinnati General Hospital and his psychoanalytic training at the Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute.

Dr. Kotcher has been a Staff Psychiatrist at the Cincinnati VAMC since 1980, and became the Chief of the Mental Health Care Line in 2005. His interests include psychoanalysis, psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and administrative psychiatry.
