Development and evaluation of conventional and novel drug delivery systems, with emphasis on aspects of industrial pharmaceutical technology and pharmaceutical manufacturing techniques such as: formula optimization, formulation and process factors which affect the in vitro/in vivo performance of dosage forms, controlled, and extended release technology, and targeted drug delivery systems.
