Dr. Keshar M. Ghimire is an Associate Professor of Economics at University of Cincinnati - Blue Ash. Besides teaching courses in economics, Dr. Ghimire conducts applied microeconomic research in the areas of labor economics and health economics.

Dr. Ghimire has presented his research in several national and international conferences including the conferences of the American Economic Association, American Society of Health Economists, International Health Economics Association, and Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management. As an expert in his area of research, he has been invited to review journal articles for several academic journals such as American Journal of Health Economics, Health Economics, Journal of Policy Analaysis and Management, Journal of Economic Geography,  Journal of Labor Research and BMC Health Services Research among others. Dr. Ghimire's research has been discussed in media outlets including  National Public Radio (NPR), The Wall Street Journal - Marketwatch, Reuters, the Freakonomics radio, and more.

Dr. Ghimire also serves as  the Course Director for Healthcare Economics in the Masters of Health Administration (MHA) program at the College of Allied Health Sciences.
