Professional Summary

Personal Statement
My fondest memories have been in the kitchen, whether it be shaping dough for paratha with my nani or working with my brothers for hours to find the best chocolate chip cookie recipe. I love the warmth of the kitchen, the joy of deepening my bond with my family, working hard as a team to create something that I can share with my loved ones. What I love about baking I also find in internal medicine. I appreciate the collaboration and teamwork involved; the complex thinking and navigation of multiple body systems to find an approach that works best for patients individually. Most of all, I am grateful for the relationships I build with my patients and their families during times of hardship and my role as an advocate for my patients.

Why I Chose Cincinnati
From the warmth and friendship I saw between the residents, to the incredible innovation and thoughtfulness behind their medical education, I quickly grew to love Cincinnati’s program during my interview day. I felt that I would not only grow as a physician through this program but as a person as well, particularly through the emphasis on a growth mindset. I could really feel the passion the leaders of this department hold for the program and the hospital and knew that this was the exact kind of place that would best support me in reaching my dreams.
