Dr. Alanson serves as the Department/Unit Head for the College of Cooperative Education and Professional Studies' Information Technology Co-op Program. His specialties include educational administration, professional development instruction, academic/career advising, student retention/persistence, partnership development, and artificial intelligence. He is co-founder and CEO of a Cincinnati-based AI business. He served as a subject matter expert (SME) for Routledge Publishing, the US Department of Labor, and Microsoft. Dr. Alanson currently serves in the National Guard’s Ohio Cyber Reserve (OhCR).
