Personal Statement
My most memorable moments in medical school have been connecting with patients, especially during my family medicine and internal medicine rotations. Providing comfort when delivering a difficult diagnosis or sitting down with a patient and listening to their story almost always led to a meaningful experience that had me reflecting on how I could have better served them. Having the opportunity to have an instantly positive impact on patients and their families when they are at their most vulnerable is nothing short of a privilege and a large part of why I chose medicine.
Why I Chose Cincinnati
As a native Cincinnatian, my roots run deep and I have always been proud to call this city home. Whether it be the top-notch food and sports scene, or the city's rich culture accentuated by beautiful parks and museums, Cincinnati has a lot to offer. I completed both undergrad and medical school at UC and am excited to continue at such a well-rounded program that boasts a fantastic culture!
