Cynthia Betcher , DNP, MSN, BSN

I am an assistant professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing. I graduated from the Christ Hospital School of Nursing and later completed the RN-BSN Program at the University of Cincinnati. I completed my MSN in Occupational Health Nursing and the DNP Program at the University of Cincinnati. I also completed the Certified Nurse Educator Program at the University of Cincinnati.
After working in acute care hospitals in medical-surgical units, I worked in a rehabilitation hospital, working with ventilator-dependent adults and tracheotomy patients. I have worked in a physician’s office, in private-duty nursing, a nursing home, and in various roles with a medical cost containment company. I have experience in both field and telephonic/online nurse case management for injured workers. I was also a school nurse for 14 years. More recently, my experience has been in Occupational Health Nursing.
