Why I Chose Cincinnati
I chose Cincinnati for my residency because it holds a special place in my heart. Having grown up here with family still nearby, the city offers a strong sense of home and belonging. I’ve always loved exploring its many parks, local coffee shops, and the vibrant energy that comes from its rich culture, sports, and diverse neighborhoods. What truly set UCMC apart for me was the genuine sense of community—the residents and faculty are incredibly
supportive, welcoming, and create an environment that feels like family. I’m also deeply connected to the patient population here, whose resilience and trust continually inspire me. Training in a place that combines personal roots with professional purpose makes this next chapter especially meaningful.
