Professional Summary
My research focuses on the assessment of environmental exposures in the healthcare and the home healthcare environment that have the potential to impact health, specifically respiratory exposures, blood borne pathogens, and infectious diseases. I completed a post-doctoral fellowship within the Division of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center (CCHMC) and continue to collaborate on environmental health assessment projects with CCHMC faculty and staff. I am excited to continue to collaborate as a faculty member and mentor with the University of Cincinnati, Education Research Center within the Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences in the College of Medicine, in addition to focusing on occupational health nursing. My service interest includes active participation in the Midwest Nursing Research Society and a member of the National Occupational Research Agenda for the Healthcare and Social Assistance Sector.

My research interest include assesment and mitigation of occupational exposures to healthcare workers in the clinical environment that have the potential to impact worker and patient outcomes. Exposure interest include respiratory, infectious, and ergonomic exposures.
