Research and Practice Interests

I am by training a clinician, immunologist, and bioinformatician, interested in the roles of extracellular vesicles in cancers and viral infections. My research strategies integrate a clinical viewpoint to identify the unmet needs, the scientific evidence to generate testable hypotheses, and the informatics skills to accelerate new discoveries. I harmonize my experience in various fields to work on the discovery, development and testing of novel diagnostics and therapeutics, aiming to improve patient outcomes.
