Professional Summary
Joshua John Clarkson (Ph.D. in Social Psychology, Ph.D. in Marketing) is a consumer psychologist who specializes in the areas of persuasion, social influence, and self-control. His research has been published in various journals, including the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, the Journal of Consumer Research, the Journal of Marketing Research, the Journal of Consumer Psychology, and the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology. His findings have been featured in media outlets from business magazines and news articles to pop-psychology books and edited academic volumes. Josh has published two books: Mastering Self Control (2021) and Self-Regulation and Ego Control (2016).
