Professional Summary
Marie Conti is a percussionist and educator living in Cincinnati. She has played with several orchestras throughout Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky and frequently plays steel drums around Cincinnati. As a teacher, she has taught many different middle and high school percussion programs throughout Ohio. Marie is currently the percussion instructor for CCM Prep where she teaches all percussion lessons and assists the percussionists in Jr. CYWE. She is also the Percussion Caption Head at Walnut Hills High School. Marie received her Bachelor’s degrees in Music Education and Percussion Performance from The University of Akron, her Master’s degree in Percussion Performance from CCM, and is currently pursuing a Doctoral of Musical Arts degree at CCM.
