Professional Summary
Casey Coronel, originally from Louisville, Kentucky, was raised in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. She began her academic journey at Indiana University Southeast, completing her pre-pharmacy coursework from 2018 to 2021, before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University College of Pharmacy in 2025. She then relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio to pursue a PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency with the University of Cincinnati and Walgreens. While Dr. Coronel has long been passionate about community and retail pharmacy, her Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPEs) also sparked a growing interest in ambulatory care and specialty pharmacy. With nearly seven years of experience at Walgreens Pharmacy and an additional year at Franciscan Health, she brings a deep commitment to accessible, patient-centered care. She currently practices at both the Walgreens Community Pharmacy and Specialty Pharmacy in Cincinnati. Dr. Coronel is driven by a desire to serve as a trusted, approachable resource for her patients—ensuring they not only receive their medications but truly understand them. Her “why” lies in empowering patients through education, connection, and consistency in care.
