Professional Summary

I am a graduate student at the University of Cincinnati, and in August 2021 graduated with a Master's degree in Criminal Justice and a graduate certificate in the Analysis of Criminal Behavior. As of fall 2021, I began the process of obtaining my PhD in Criminal Justice, concentratinng on criminology and crime prevention. My research interests thus far include victimology and juvenile justice practices. In my undergrad, I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Biology, as well as minors in Justice, Law, and Public Policy and Environmental Studies.

I aim to have a career at a nonprofit university as an Associate Professor and researcher. I have had several influencial mentors throughout my college experience, and hope to one day provide that same guidance and instruction as they once offered me.

Research and Practice Interests

My research interests primarily revolve around victimology and juvenile justice. At present, I am studying the Troubled Teen Industry as an unsanctioned alternative to the juvenile justice system and the effects it has on the youth who attend these programs.
