Professional Summary

Elaine M. Cox is Associate Director of Development and Alumni Relations at CCM, as well as an adjunct instructor in CCM's Arts Administration program. Prior to her appointment at CCM, Cox served as Associate Director of Development and Dramaturg for Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, the region’s premiere Classical theatre company bringing Shakespeare and the Classics to life for all.

As a arts administrator, Cox has worked at theatres and performing arts centers across the country, including most notably as the Manager of Foundation Relations and Research at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County, where she was responsible for raising $2 million annually in foundation and government support. As a dramaturg, she has worked at Equity theatres in Indiana, New York, Fort Worth and the Berkshires. 
  
Cox is a 2020 graduate of UC’s MA/MBA Arts Administration Program, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance and History from Huntington University in Huntington, Indiana. She lives in Norwood with her husband and Sparky, the best dog in the world.
