Personal Statement
I became interested in ophthalmology through a fascination with medical engineering and technology. I was particularly drawn to ocular prosthetics and intraocular lenses used to treat post-surgical patients. I am excited to hone my medical knowledge and surgical acumen at UC over the next few years.
Why I Chose Cincinnati
I chose UC for my ophthalmology residency because of the opportunity to work in all subspecialties of ophthalmology. Their partnership with Cincinnati Eye Institute and the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Hospital ensure that I am able to learn in world class academic, clinical, and service driven settings throughout my entire residency program.
