Professional Summary

Personal Statement
As I became immersed in the field of medicine, I began to understand that one of the most important aspects of the career is to be the person who is present when a patient receives life-altering news. To serve as a guide and support, both physically and emotionally, to a patient and their family through the ensuing changes is something that my life experiences have prepared me to do.

Why I Chose Cincinnati
I chose to train at the University of Cincinnati so my children could grow up near family during this busy time of our lives. I was excited to match at a program known for its strong emphasis on resident education, close faculty mentorship, and the opportunity to manage my own patient census during long block. The program’s integration with the VA Medical Center also offers a unique chance to provide longitudinal, mission-driven care for veterans.
