Seynabou Dieye

I hold a Master's degree in French from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor's degree in Communication. Throughout my career, I have leveraged my linguistic and intercultural expertise to connect people, facilitate communication, and foster global understanding.
For more than 18 years with Delta Air Lines, I served as both a translator and flight attendant, roles that allowed me to engage with diverse populations and utilize language as a bridge between cultures. During my tenure, I also worked as an Operations Manager at one of the busiest airports in the United States, overseeing more than 150 daily departures and leading complex operational efforts in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in French, I have built a career centered on intercultural communication, customer service, leadership, and international engagement. Today, I serve as a Study Abroad Advisor for UC International Programs at the University of Cincinnati, where I support students and faculty throughout all stages of the study abroad process. In this role, I help create meaningful international learning experiences by advising participants, facilitating program logistics, and promoting global education opportunities.
My professional journey reflects a commitment to fostering cross-cultural connections, supporting international experiences, and empowering individuals to engage confidently in an increasingly interconnected world.

08-2001 -05-2004 Presidential Academic achievement Award Recipient Received a full academic scholarship for maintaining a GPA above 3.8 and mentoring over 60 college freshmen throughout their academic journey.

2002 -2003 NCAA student of the Year/academic As a member of the Wilberforce University basketball team from 2000 to 2004, I have been award twice the NCAA Academic student of the year for both my performances as an athlete but also as a student.
