Dr. Doytchinova graduated summa cum laude from Lake Forest College and matriculated from medical school at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and received the American Medical Women’s Association Glasgow-Rubin Certificate for outstanding academic achievement. She subsequently completed her Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease postgraduate training at Indiana University in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Doytchinova was awarded a post-doctoral fellowship grant from the American Heart Association and has a variety of publications in several peer reviewed journals. She currently serves as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Health and Disease and as an active reviewer for the HeartRhythm Journal.

Dr. Doytchinova’s areas of expertise include interpreting and performing transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, cardiac stress testing, nuclear cardiac imaging, and cardiac magnetic resonance. In addition to cardiac imaging, Dr. Doytchinova’s interests include women’s health and the influence of the sympathetic nervous system on cardiovascular pathology.
