Research and Practice Interests

My current research focuses on the invasive ground cover and liana Euonymus fortunei, comparing genetics taken from wild/escaped populations and comparing them to the genetics of known horticultural clonal varities, as well as the effects invasion has on forest floor arthropod community.

Previous research has focused on air pollution and its effects on the light responses in plants, botanical ecophysiology, ecosystems level ecology, environmental and bioethics.
