Dr. Prince Ellis is a Professor of Economics and Finance at the University of Cincinnati. He has extensive experience teaching economics, finance, business, and technology across face to face, hybrid, HyFlex, and online formats. His professional focus includes financial literacy, applied economics, workforce development, insurance and finance education, and eLearning innovation. His scholarship and applied work connect academic research with real world impact, including community based economic development and international engagement. He provides academic and institutional leadership through program coordination, faculty mentoring, curriculum development, and community engaged initiatives grounded in equity, access, and student success.

Research and Practice Interests

Dr. Prince Ellis’s research and practice integrate eLearning, instructional and content design, international business, and applied economics with community engaged impact. His scholarly work examines corporate eLearning and workforce outcomes, leadership and sustainable practices in developing economies, and technology enabled education. Equally central to his work is community building through service and applied leadership. Through African Professionals Network (APNET), the New African Immigrants Commission, and related service initiatives, he focuses on financial literacy, workforce development, youth engagement, and economic empowerment. His work is grounded in translating research into practice to create measurable, lasting impact in local and global communities connected to the University of Cincinnati.
