Professional Summary
I am a third year PhD student in Criminal Justice with a foundation area of criminology and a substantive specialization in crime prevention with an anticipated completion data of May 2025. My research interests include cybercrime and victimization, the intersection of immigration and cybercrime, and cryptocurrency-related offending. I have been a graduate assistant in several courses and have taught several classes such as: Introduction to Criminal Justice, Introduction to Criminology, and Cybercrime. I currently teach two class, Introduction to Criminal Justice and Introduction to Criminology. Further, I am a Research Affiliate at the Kautz-Uible Cryptoeconomics Lab here at the University of Cincinnati, and a Research Affiliate at The University of Cincinnati Cybercrime and Behavior Online Research Group (C.Y.B.O.R.G.). I also have experience in the following computing languages and programs: Javascript, Python, SQL, Azure, and PowerBi.

Research and Practice Interests
My research interests include cybercrime and victimization, the intersection of immigration and cybercrime, and cryptocurrency-related offending.Specifically, I am interested in the use of cryptocurrencies in the facilitation of criminal activity, and how emergining blockchain technologies may present as tools for illegal activity and victimization.
