Professional Summary

Dr. Dinc Erdeniz is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cincinnati, a position he has held since January 2021. Before joining UC, he served as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Marquette University. Dr. Erdeniz earned his PhD from Northeastern University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University. His research is centered on developing and characterizing metallic materials for high-temperature applications in the aerospace, automotive, and energy sectors. He uses advanced experimental and computational techniques to explore the deformation and failure mechanisms of superalloys, aluminum alloys, high-entropy alloys, and shape-memory materials.
