Professional Summary
Emily is a PhD student specializing in Bronze Age Archaeology. She graduated with a B.A. in Archaeology and Classics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research interests focus on the Archaeology and archaeological reception of LBA Crete.
Emily has excavated at the Athenian Agora as a volunteer and as an assistant supervisor, at the Lykomouri-Ayios Antonios excavations in East Crete, and at the Charles Town Landing-Lord Ashley excavations in South Carolina. Through her volunteer work at the UNC Research Laboratories of Archaeology (2023-2026), she has experience with processing and cataloging artifacts, as well as with ceramic analysis.
