Professional Summary

Elizabeth Forsythe is an interdisciplinary scholar specializing in critical disability studies, cultural rhetoric, and feminist and queer theory. She holds a PhD in English from Washington State University and an MFA in poetry from Columbia College Chicago. 

In addition to her scholarly work, she has worked as a poetry editor for Columbia Poetry Review and Blood Orange Review and a reader for The Adroit Journal. Her poetry has appeared in 2River View, Blood Orange ReviewJabberwock Review, Tinderbox Poetry, Tupelo Quarterly, and elsewhere.
