2007 -2011 Adjunct Instructor, I taught two sections of the World Music Performance Labs: African Music Lab (16- HILT-581-001) & Afro-Cuban Music Lab (16-HILT-581-002). These classes were an elective for music majors. During class, students either learn to play a few African instruments, like the North African frame drum, karimba, and mbira; or an assortment of Afro-Cuban instruments, like the congas, surdo, ago-go, and other auxiliary percussion.
