Professional Summary
Othello Gomes is a graduate student in the physics department, aspiring to do research in the energy frontier of particle physics. They are primarily interested in investigating newer physics through the study of CP-violation as well as R&Ds in detectors and particle accelerators. Before joining UC, Othello earned their B.S. in physics from the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland, where they participated in research with the LHCb group, Joint Center for Quantum Information & Computer Science (QuICS), and department of astronomy.
