James R Hansel

Jim Hansel has a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and a Masters of Education from Xavier University, and a Master of Environmental Science from Miami University. He is an award winning teacher and adjunct with Cincinnati State and with UC. He has a broad background in the regional horticulture scene, having served as Director of Horticulture for the Civic Garden Center, as a biologist for BHE Environmental, Inc., and as a manager and horticulturist for Ohio River Grass and Greenfield Plant Farm. Jim is published in Biological Conservation Journal and has presented papers on horticulture and education at several conferences.
