Jessica Faith Cromer

Jessica is a first-generation transfer Bearcat & graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2018 with her BA in Communication. Prior to transferring to UC, Jessica was unsure of the career path she wanted to take. It was the positive experience she had with her own Academic Advisor at UC that gave her that "ah-ha!" moment & made her realize that higher education was the perfect fit for her. 

After graduating from UC, Jessica moved to Arizona where she worked at Arizona State University while pursuing her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership - Community College & Higher Education from Northern Arizona University, which she earned in 2021. At ASU, Jessica gained experience in student services & information technology. She also has experience as a Student Success Coordinator at Fortis College. 

Jessica's professional journey brought her full circle to her alma mater, & that is something she is so grateful for. Since being at UC, she has had experience working as an Admissions Counselor recruiting future Bearcats, & now as an Academic Advisor in the College of Arts & Sciences. 

If you asked Jessica what her "dream job" is, it would be exactly what she is doing! Supporting students, helping them find their fit, & providing them with the tools & information they need to create their own success story is what she is most passionate about. Each day, she feels incredibly lucky to get to be a part of her students' journey. 

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys traveling. She also has her own photography business, & loves being able to capture life's special moments for others. Most of her time however, is spent making memories with her husband & their one year old son. Jessica is an avid fan of The Office, Chipotle, & Disney (she even interned at Walt Disney World during her undergrad!)
