Professional Summary

Amy Hobek, PhD, CCC-SLP is an associate professor and clinical supervisor in the Communication Sciences and Disorders department at the University of Cincinnati. She currently teaches undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level course in the areas of speech and language development, language disorders in early childhood, and cultural diversity, equity and inclusive practices. She supervises masters students in their practicum placement at Arlitt Education and Research Center, which serves a diverse group of preschool students. Her research activities include investigating language and literacy development in culturally and linguistically diverse populations and inequities in healthcare.
