Amy Hobek, PhD, CCC-SLP is an instructor and clinical supervisor in the CSD department at the University of Cincinnati.  She has over 15 years of experience as a SLP in predominantly diverse, urban educational settings. She currently teaches undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level course in the areas of speech and language development, cultural and linguistic diversity and healthcare ethics.  She supervises masters students in their practicum placement at Arlitt Education and Research Center, which serves a diverse group of preschool students. Her research activities include investigating language and literacy development in culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
