Research and Practice Interests
Evaluation studies, assessing the performance of pharmacists and pharmacy systems in traditional and newer drug-related roles. Study of the values, attitudes, personality, self-concept of pharmacists as these relate to enhanced or inhibited role development, effective interpersonal communication and occupational change in independent pharmacies, chain drug-stores, hospital, nursing home and other institutional settings. Particular interest in the client service implications and impact on safe and effective drug therapy.
