Research and Practice Interests
High Tc materials, in particular YBCO, which have been shown to be simultaneously superconducting and capable of undergoing a broad spin glass transition, are being studied using magnetic susceptibility measurements. A recently observed low temperature spin glass transition is being studied as a function of impurity concentration and oxygen loading in order to determine its origin.
