Professional Summary

I was born and raised in Ashland, KY. I completed both my undergraduate degree and Medical degree at Marshall University in Huntington, WV. There I was able to strengthen my interest in underserved rural medicine, and became aware of the discrepancies in medical care provided to the mentally ill.  I became determined to provided above adequate health care to those suffering from mental illness, and  decided to pursue combined training. I felt as though combined training would provide me with the skills needed to perform comprehensive health care to the underserved. Since starting residency, I have developed a strong interest in teaching, and hope to incorporate clinical education into my future career. Other interests include Consultation Psychiatry, Neuro cognitive disorders, Inpatient Family Medicine, and Palliative care. I feel lucky to be a part of an amazing group of people here in Cincinnati and look forward to continuing my residency training.  Outside of the hospital, I enjoy spending time with friends and family.
