Professional Summary

I have a career of research in the area of auditory processing, language-learning disorders.  My reseach includes auditory processing and it's disorders as they relate to developmental disorders of audition, related language, learning and reading disorders.  As the author of multiple tests of auditory processing including the SCAN auditory test batteries my research also extends to investigating the parameters of tests with the AP battery, and to reliability and validity of those measures.

My additional research interests are in areas of vestibular disorders in children and adults.

Current research projects include supervision of doctoral student studies in the investigation of children with atypical auditory processing abilities, a study of adult subjects diagnosed with mild Traumatic Brain Injury, and validation of the SCAN 3:C Test of Auditory Processing Abilities in Children,
