I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the CEDAR Title VI Language Resource Center in the Department of Romance and Arabic Languages and Literatures at the University of Cincinnati. My research focuses on second language learning, particularly how input and learner characteristics shape the longitudinal development of form-meaning pairings. I am also investigating the impact of high-immersion virtual reality materials on foreign language learners’ socio-emotional variables and cultural understanding, using both self-report and physiological measures.
