Professional Summary

Dr. Karissa Kim is Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Educator-Track.  She is Course Director for Therapeutics of Nonprescription Medicines Course Series, SBIRT, Anti-Racism and Equity in Pharmacy Practice, and Antithrombotic Therapy Management.  She teaches in other courses such as Biostatistics and Research Methods, Evidence-Based Practice, Therapeutics II and Therapeutics V.  She became a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist in 2008 and board certified ambulatory care specialist is 2021.  

Dr. Kim also serves as Director of Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE) and oversees all aspects of the CPE program.
