Professional Summary

Michael Kralik is originally from the Alpharetta/Johns Creek area and began playing saxophone when he was in the 4th grade. After graduating high school, he attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he studied saxophone and Music Education. While attending, he worked with notable professors such as Dr. Steven Stusek, Dr. Jennifer Walter, and Dr. Rebecca Macleod. After graduating in 2020, he returned back to Georgia to join the amazing community of music educators and performers.
While in Georgia, Michael was very active in the music comminuty. Right out of college, he became the Director of Guitar at Duluth Middle School located in Duluth Georgia. After, he began focusing more on becoming an independent musician and music teacher that served the North Fulton and Gwinnett County areas. He has since grown his private lesson studio and has had students make GMEA All-State Band and the Brevard Music Center Summer Institute.
In accordance with being a supporter of the arts, Michael also works with local arts organizations including the Georgia Music Educators Association, the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony, and the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra. He has been a part of projects that include assisting with guest residencies with Joseph Alessi and Bruce Broughton, being a representative at community festivals, and organizing a Gala for the JCSO.
As an active musician, Michael enjoys working in community wind ensembles and pit orchestras as a saxophonist and woodwind doubler.
Michael now studies at the College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) at the University of Cincinnati. He will be working towards a duals master’s in Arts Administration and Business Administration (MAA/MBA)
