Professional Summary

Personal Statement
Months of tireless dedication finally led to this moment. Standing among the bright lights and vibrant cheers, we finally made it to our first national competition for Indian-western fusion acappella: All American Awaaz. As our music director counted us off, my heart started to race and my hands trembled. However, as soon as I heard that first A-flat chord, my mind raced back to our practice sessions where we rehearsed our version of Garands a thousand times before. I felt myself fall into the baritone harmony. It was a feeling beyond words, an indescribable fusion of passion and purpose. It instilled us the confidence we could contribute on a broader level, transforming us from a small college music group to a nationally ranked team. To me, internal medicine is like learning and performing music; it embodies my passion of directing patient care from the first note to the last and allows me to work towards a harmony that is truly greater than the sum of its parts.

Why I Chose Cincinnati
UC’s emphasis on a collaborative environment and innovative approach to medical education, particularly UC's Long Block, aligns perfectly with what I am looking for. I also loved how supportive the environment is from the residents to faculty which I saw during my interviews and how structured the feedback was to improve yourself. UC's commitment to personal growth and reflection deeply resonates with me as they improve a resident’s wellbeing. This seemed like an exciting opportunity to prepare me for the real world and become a well-rounded physician.
