Joining the Department of Communication in 1989, Larcher's primary interests center around teaching, advising and directing the UC Forensics Team. Over the past few years Larcher has taught a variety of courses including Effective Public Speaking, Persuasive Speaking, Professional Speaking, Business Communication, Public Debate, Nonverbal Communication and Small Group Communication.
As Faculty Advisor and Coach of the UC Forensics Team,  Larcher coaches and travels with the team to surrounding colleges and universities to compete in competitive speech and debate competitions.
Larcher was the recipient of the Prize Mentor of the Year Award in 2011 and was nominated for the Outstanding Student Group Advisor of the Year award in 2012.
Larcher also recently took on the role of Faculty Advisor for Delta Tau Delta.
Larcher received her undergraduate degree from The University of Toledo, and her Masters in Communication from The University of Cincinnati.
