Professional Summary

Zimo Liang(梁子墨)is a first year PhD student in Ancient History track. Zimo is mainly interested in Roman Greece in the Early and High Empire, with a special focus on epigraphy and historical geography. After excavating in Athens as an Agora Volunteer in the summer of 2024, Zimo is now studying the intricate relationships among Rome, Athens, and Delos in the 2nd and 1st centuries BC, specifically their roles in the First Mithridatic War. Aside from ancient history, Zimo is also interested in the Imperial Greek literature, particularly Plutarch's Parallel Lives and Lucian.

In his leisure time, Zimo enjoys knitting, cycling, and reading the history of Ohio.
