Jesus Calvo, RHIA, CHDA, CPC, CPB has almost 20 years of experience in health information management. He primarily worked with mental health non-profit organizations where his role involved the tasks of medical billing, analyzing data, credentialing, and quality assurance.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management from the University of Cincinnati and is now pursuing a Master of Health Informatics degree. He has taught online courses in Health Information Management and has been leading a student group on healthcare data analysis, providing students opportunities on how to use Python, SQL, and Tableau as part of workshops, peer presentations, and student-led projects. His academic interests include the use of data-driven healthcare analytics as well as healthcare information systems.
