Professional Summary
Anna Macintosh is an emerging cello performer and educator. She currently serves as faculty at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music Preparatory Program, offering both individual and group lessons. As an orchestral musician, she recently won a section position on the Lexington Philharmonic, and has performed with multiple other orchestras in the United States, including the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Charleston Symphony Orchestra, Illinois Symphony, Richmond Symphony, Kentucky Symphony and the Lancaster Music Festival Orchestra in Ohio. She holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Cello Performance and a minor in Suzuki Pedagogy from the Cleveland Institute of Music, as well as a Master’s degree in Cello Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where she graduated in 2024. In her spare time, Anna Macintosh enjoys crocheting and spending time with her cats Olive and Caper.
