Student Engagement/Enrichment:  Responsible for overseeing all programs for prospective and new students entering the UC, College of Nursing as well as programming for current students in the UC, College of Nursing; identifying needs and generating ideas with the appropriate professional staff and faculty  members to assist in carrying out of programs;  identifying student needs in curricular programs and participating in appropriate councils in the College to progressively develop academic programs in the College of Nursing;  identifying and coordinating efforts to improve student services to prospective and current students of the UC, College of Nursing; serving as College Conduct Administrator.
Departmental Leadership:  Responsible for the operations of the Student Affairs department in the UC, College of Nursing; supervising professional and support staff members; continuously developing the staff in the UC, College of Nursing Office of Student Affairs;  identifying needs of the department to stay current with technology trends for record keeping communication, and providing student services;  consistently examining the departmental structure and its resources to ensure efficient use of College resources; maintaining departmental budget. 
College & University Leadership:  Responsible for serving as part of the college leadership team; serving on college and university-level committees and councils to ensure that the College of Nursing and its students are in compliance with University ideals and processes; collaboratively administering innovative program offerings with external agencies through advocacy for students in those programs and the identification and facilitation of services to those students and the external agencies; serving as an advocate for students while maintaining a clear understanding of the College’s operations; maintaining enrollment records for the College of Nursing including quarterly/semester student profiles and annual comparison reports; participating in budget and enrollment planning for the college; leading Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accreditation efforts.
