Matt was born and raised in Middletown, New Jersey. He received his Master of Science in criminal justice from the University of Cincinnati in 2023, where he was honored with the Robert B. Mills Award for Outstanding Scholarship in Criminal Justice, recognizing him as the top master's student in the program.
