Dr. Meikle is an Assistant Professor with a dual appointment in Family & Community Medicine and Psychiatry & Behavioral Neuroscience. She received her BS from Miami University in Biology in Oxford, Ohio in 2014 and her MD and PhD in Medical Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Toledo in 2021. She completed a residency in combined training in Family Medicine and Psychiatry, graduating in 2026. She is board certified in both Family Medicine and Psychiatry. Her areas of interest include trauma and PTSD, the impact of trauma on physical health, preventive care, emergency psychiatry, and medical education.
