Professional Summary

Personal Statement
I have a strong passion for working with patients with challenging psychosocial backgrounds. The most rewarding patient interactions I have had are with patients struggling with addiction and homelessness. Despite their vulnerability, this population is often met in society with frustration or frank dismissal, and therefore require an enormous amount of compassion from the medical community. Working with these individuals and their complex medical needs is one of the things that initially drew me to Internal Medicine. I hope to continue working in an urban environment, to learn from these patients and to serve them throughout my career. I hope to bring an extra dose of optimism and empathy to the UC healthcare team!

Why I Chose Cincinnati
I was so impressed with Dr. Warm's presentation during interviews. He highlighted the program's purposeful focus on creating, fine-tuning, and implementing medical education practices that will actually change our patient's health outcomes for the better.
